KakuroZen exists to make Kakuro puzzles easy to find, easy to start, and impossible to put down. We believe number puzzles are one of the best ways to keep your mind active. They cost nothing, require no equipment, and work for people of all ages.
We publish puzzle books on Amazon, maintain a free puzzle app for iPhone and Android, and share free printable puzzles on this website every week. Whether you are a first-time solver or a daily expert, we have something for you.
Why Kakuro?
Most people know Sudoku. Fewer people know Kakuro, and that is a shame. Kakuro combines the logic of Sudoku with the arithmetic of a number crossword. It trains your brain in ways that pure logic puzzles cannot. You practice mental math, working memory, and pattern recognition all at once.
There is also something meditative about it. When you are deep in a Kakuro grid, the rest of the world fades away. That focused calm is what “Zen” in our name stands for. Not as a philosophy, but as a feeling. The feeling you get when your mind is fully engaged in something simple and satisfying.
